Ooooh, are any of my crochet friends online?
I have a pattern that confuses me!
Help from anyone who knows what their doing would be awesome!

Oh gods, Shay! (And anyone else who’s interested in my absent-mindedness)
Not TERRIBLY long ago, I found myself holding on to some crazy colored yarn and fun fur and I thought, these would look cool together! So, what I decided to do was to chain them together to use as a single strand of yarn. I found the two ends and started making the longest foundation chain of my life…with a 5.0mm hook.
i haven’t made anything out of the finished product yet, but I have it hanging on my crazy lamp and once folded it up to an appropriate length, twist tied it together, and wore it as a scarf. But I figured it looked neat and thought I’d share!
SCREAMING. I AM SCREAMING. SCREAMING I SAY. SCREAMING.
This officially killed Curly. It’s genius :)
It’s one thing to see people painting and drawing like I never will, but do you all have to be so good at crochet, too?

Mario Mushroom Scarf and Fingerless Gloves
So all those photos I’ve been posting of the mushroom projects? Yeah I’m done. Whoo! A dear friend commissioned a Mario Mushroom Scarf and Fingerless Glove set for her sister’s birthday. They’re done, and I’m super excited to mail them out tomorrow! Check out the photos.
I love them, and I hope the recipient does, too!

The scarf of sexual preference! Which will eventually become a blanket if it tries REAL hard.
This weekend was awesome! I accidently started to crochet a blanket that’s going to be a good car size. (I have this thing about having to sleep under a blanket and I’m not good at sleeping in cars, so I’m thinking this should help.) On Friday while I was waiting for Craig to come around, I just whipped up the first two rows in yellow and it kind of grew into a rainbow by Sunday afternoon. Right now, it’s yellow to orange and looks more like a Scarf of Sexual Preference, but hey…
Also, on Sunday, Craig and I decided it would be cool to go check out these abandoned train cars not TERRIBLY far from home (less than an hour’s drive). It was a really dreary and overcast day, but we took a bunch of pictures and I got a cool bruise on my leg from CLIMBING INTO AN OLD PASSENGER CAR! Yeah, I climbed right up in that sucker! And then we were exploring some of the tracks and there was a train coming that Craig didn’t see, so I saved the day. Like a boss.
We’re going to post those pictures with some commentary up on Craig’s blog (craigisnotcool) soonish. Hopefully tomorrow. I’m going to reblog them and start a tag for out explorations around here. Craig wants to do a lot more hiking this year while the weather’s nice and I really can’t blame him. We could both use the exercise.
So I have to votes for a giveaway when I hit 100 followers which suits me fine. I have a cool scarf idea I’d like to test. (Not that anyone really needs scarves at this time of year, but hey, it might take until Christmas for me to hit 100!) I’ll kick some ideas around…
I think that’s everything. I have to see if I can’t go do some writing so I can do some writing because I have a FREAKING cool idea for something entirely new because I suck at sticking with things apparently. Yay.

Crochet is difficult with a bandaged finger.
